Has breakfast gotten boring in your house? It’s time to shake things up! This Fruit Parfait With Greek Yogurt will get your day started in the best way!

Fruit Parfait

From Stephanie – When I was in Crete last year, I would spend every morning at my favorite coffee shop delighting in their delicious Fruit Parfait. The first few days, I dug out my best Greek to order my morning treat. By the fourth day, the waitress knew my order and started to make it when I walked in… She would ask me if I wanted to try anything else, and while I definitely wanted to, I couldn’t NOT have the parfait!

The creaminess of the Greek yogurt with the crunchiness of the granola, topped with the sweet berries and local Greek honey, made me so happy to start each day. Plus, it kept me satisfied and energized the entire morning. With all of the food I ate while in Greece, it’s the one I miss most. It took me a while, but I finally decided to make my own, and I can’t wait for you to try it!

CAN I USE DAIRY-FREE YOGURT?

Absolutely, feel free to use any kind of yogurt you’d like! Kite Hill has a dairy-free Greek yogurt if you’d like that specific taste. Personally, we like to use a thick Greek yogurt and Fage is our favorite.

CAN THIS BE MADE GLUTEN-FREE?

Our Greek Yogurt Parfait was made gluten-free! We love Purely Elizabeth Original Ancient Grain Granola, which you buy here. You definitely cannot taste a difference, so don’t worry about it altering the taste in any way.

IS THERE A SPECIFIC HONEY YOU RECOMMEND?

We bought our honey at the farmer’s market. It was pollinated with flowers and citrus and the flavor really reminded us of the honey in Greece! It’s also a great way to support your local farmers. We definitely recommend buying your honey raw and organic if nothing else. You will taste how much sweeter and rich it is!
